Custom crafted foam mold over which dyed blue strip straw was placed and hand sewn into shape. Hand sewn black jewels and custom feather affixed to finished product.

This headpiece would be worn with a silk bonnet during military processions and combat.

Feathers were then affixed to the wire frame.

Each feather shaft was decorated with hand-cut gold spangles.

Inspired by bonnets of the 1830s with a pattern drafted then cut in buckram. Covered in brocade and lined in cream silk moiré

Inspired by 1920s cloche hats with an asymmetrical flare.

2 piece black felt blocked into funnel shape and attached to wide portrait style brim.

Bucket Hat made from blocking process. 1920s style handmade floral appliqué using bias cut red taffeta and embroidered with beads.
